Sir John Jones
John led three Liverpool schools and was knighted in 2003 for services to education. He was a member of the Government’s Policy Action Team for Neighbourhood Renewal at the Social Exclusion Unit, the Headteacher’s National Focus Group on Truancy and Exclusion and the Leadership and Development Unit sponsored by the National College for School Leadership.
He works part-time at the Centre for Educational Leadership at Manchester University and teaches on the Masters Course at Liverpool University specialising in the leadership of change.
