David Walliams’ Gangsta Granny has won the Northern Ireland Book Award. With Ministry of Pandemonium and Run Rabbit Run the joint runners up.

The Waterstones Children’s Book Prize was won by The Pirates Next Door with The Brilliant world of Tom Gates winning in the 5- 12 years category .You Against Me  was awarded the teen category prize.
